Bistro to bring along bowling and bocce in its debut
Thor Equities has landed Pinstripes as its first retail tenant at the Kirby Collection mixeduse development at 3200 Kirby near River Oaks. Pinstripes, which offers a bistro with Italian and American cuisine along with bowling and bocce, has leased 33,830 square feet for a 15-year term for its Houston debut in late 2017. The restaurant will occupy 7,260 square feet on the ground floor and another 26,570 square feet on the second level. George Stanchfield of Thor Equities represented the landlord. Ben Brown of Baker Katz represented the tenant.
• The Galleria will bring two new restaurants to the Houston market next fall, mall owner Simon announced. Both are planned to open in the former Saks Fifth Avenue store, which is being converted into new retail space. Nobu, a PeruvianJapanese fusion restaurant, will occupy a 10,000-square-foot space on the second level. Fig & Olive, a New York-based restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, will open its first Texas location in a street level site with more than 7,000 square feet of space.
Brooklyn Cafe, a longstanding bagel shop in The Woodlands, has leased 2,509 square feet at The Market at 1488 at 6606 FM1488 in Magnolia. Mark Raines and Matt Parsons of JLL represented the tenant. Kyle Knight and Jacob Grossman of the Weitzman Group represented the landlord.
Bahama Buck’s Original Shaved Ice plans to open at 12567 Broadway in Pearland in early October.
Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant has leased 4,000 square feet in Cypress Landing Center, 3040 FM1960 East, Humble. Jason Gaines and Hannah Kaplan of NAI Partners represented the landlord, Shomer III.
