A joint venture of Mitsubishi Caterpillar
Forklift America and Jungheinrich will build a 71,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution center in Conroe Industrial Park on FM 3083, east of Interstate 45. Origin Bank provided financing. The venture, known as ICOTEX (Industrial Components of Texas), will provide metal components for forklifts, machinery and other applications. Investments has purchased the 293unit Domain at Kirby apartments and retail development at 1333 Old Spanish Trail. The seller was Principal Real Estate Investors. Maankee Hospitality has acquired the 144-room Motel 6 at Hobby Airport, 9005 Airport Blvd., from Aum Sai Ram. Tyler Bean, Michael Yu and Rahul Bijlani with CBRE Hotels handled the sale.
Vantiv, a Cincinnati-based credit card processing company, has leased 41,000 square feet in Reserve at Greens Crossing, 11410 Greens Crossing. Michelle Wogan and Monte Calvert of Transwestern represented the owner, a partnership of Banyan Street Capital and Oaktree Capital Management. David Guion with Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Kwik-Pitts Properties has purchased a 55,600-square-foot manufacturing complex on 13.9 acres at 5220 Shank Road in Pearland for a trailer manufacturing facility. Mark Wimberly of Houston Commercial Development represented the seller, Somers/Kemph. Gregg Barra of Boyd Commercial represented the buyer. HFF has arranged fixedrate financing on behalf of the Hanover Co. for its 379-unit Hanover Rice Village development at Kelvin and Dunstan.
