Top Agents Honored at Annual Greenwood King Breakfast

Julie Greenwood and Linda King honored Greenwood King Properties top producers and celebrated another superb year in the company’s history at the annual breakfast held at Houston Country Club on January 24, 2016. “This past year was a tale of increased inventory with continued demand for exceptiona­l houses” said King. “The well-trained and knowledgea­ble agent was front and center, and we dominated in strong, stable markets throughout the city.” Greenwood added, “GK agents are successful in prosperous times, difficult economic environmen­ts, and everything in between. Through it all, they manage challenges with finesse and confidence. Thirty percent of our agents have been with the company for more than 10 years, and through their wealth of expertise, commitment and profession­alism, they serve as mentors for the next generation of agents.” Greenwood and King began the award ceremony by honoring Sharon Ballas, Cathy Blum, Heidi Dugan, Tim Surratt, Colleen Sherlock and Clint Simpson for their recognitio­n in the 2016 Houston Business Journal’s “Top 25 Real Estate Agents. Next, the success and accomplish­ments of each of the company’s 44 Top Producers were honored in a video presentati­on entitled “2016 Houston’s Real Estate’s Best,” in which each honoree described the year of 2016 in 7 to 10 words. In other categories, Juana Bernard, Laura Bonck, and Bo Defenbaugh each received “Rookie of the Year.” The Top Producer Club recognized 24 agents and new members were introduced to the “25, 20, 15 and 10-Year Clubs. “GK agents rank among the top real estate associates in the nation with an average of $831,408 in sales per agent,” said Greenwood. “Our entire company looks forward to this ceremony every year, and it is always a warm and lively event that captures the essence of these highly successful profession­als.”
