Dreyer’s main focus area is the Inner Loop

Sharon Dreyer, Realtor with John Daugherty Realtors, is a survivor, and knows how to keep going even when things do not seem as positive as she would like.

For example, she not only is a breast cancer survivor, she also has survived two plane crashes, one private and one commercial.

“We were on our way to Belize, and the commercial plane crashed in the ocean, we were in the water, and half of the plane was underwater. We were rescued about an hour and a half later, and it was a miracle that all survived,” Dreyer said.

Moreover, after being in the real estate industry over a couple of decades, she has seen the Houston market in many different phases. But whatever phase, up or down, Dreyer has been able to meet her buyers’ goals or place a “sold” sign on a seller’s property.

Dreyer’s main focus area is inside the Loop, Rice University, South Hampton, Tanglewood, River Oaks, close-in Memorial and Memorial Villages.

“These areas are beautiful with many trees and very community oriented,” Dreyer said.

Approximately, 99 percent of Dreyer’s business today is from referrals, which speaks highly not only of her, but the service she provides to her clients.

Dreyer is known for being very optimistic, available, outgoing and very much a people person with excellent negotiation and communications skills.

“My son kids me about sleeping with my phone, but I want to be available whenever a client might need me,” Dreyer said.

Prior to real estate, Dreyer was a flight attendant and later taught radiology. Both of these careers were people and service oriented, which real estate is as well.

“After my fourth child was in high school, I was eager to get back into the workforce. Yet, I wanted a position where I would be around people, and I love looking at homes. Real estate was a perfect fit, and I love it. I love what I do, I love working with my clients that usually become friends. There is nothing else I would rather be doing,” Dreyer said.
