Community will feature fun events at ‘Elyson Takes Flight’ celebration
Elyson, a new community in the Katy Independent School District, is celebrating spring with a series of free events featuring bounce houses, outdoor movies, a butterfly release and more.
During each event, visitors can register to win a free $500 Southwest Airlines gift card. No purchase is necessary. Entry forms are readily available, and each entry has an equal chance of winning.
Home shoppers can receive a free $10 gift card to Elyson’s Rorick Kitchen cafe after visiting the Model Home Village, showcasing new homes priced from the mid-$200,000s to $600,000s.
Entry forms and rules for the gift card giveaways are readily available at Rorick House, the focal point of all fun spring activities at Elyson.
The next event is on Saturday, April 8, when Elyson presents “Float Like a Butterfly,” featuring the colorful spectacle of The Bike Zoo, along with stilt walkers, a butterfly release and flower pot decorating.
On Saturday, May 6, the series ends with “Let’s Go Fly a Kite,” featuring performances by the Houston Disc Dogs, kite giveaways, kite-themed crafts, a giant rock climbing wall and more.
These events celebrate nature and springtime at Elyson, which will devote more than 750 acres of its master plan to parks, trails, recreation centers and natural open spaces.
There’s no event this weekend, but spring is a great time to visit Elyson to tour 10 fully furnished model homes and more 40 showcase homes ready for move-in from now through the summer. These showcase homes offer buyers an opportunity to move in soon and be ready for the start of the new school year with three new Katy Independent School District schools serving Elyson students in grades K-12.
