Taylor Morrison, Darling unveil Playhouse for HomeAid fundraiser
Representatives from Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes shared a “slice of Americana” with the recent unveiling of the new Project Playhouse design that is being built for HomeAid Houston’s 11th annual Project Playhouse fundraiser.
The playhouse is called the All American Playhouse with its purely classic playhouse style, while prominently showcasing the American flag on the exterior.
Roo Popp, Michael Pomerleau and Keeley Motton, representing the Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes Project Playhouse team, joined HomeAid Houston’s Cindy Hinson, fund development chair and Bo Butler, president of GHBA as they unveiled the design at a recent GHBA board meeting.
“Darling Homes and Taylor Morrison (sister companies under the Taylor Morrison corporate umbrella) are coming together to construct the 2017 HomeAid Houston Project Playhouse,” said Bill Dalton, vice president of Land for both companies. “This is a unique opportunity for the two companies to collaborate on an important fundraiser for HomeAid, that will raise funds to help stabilize the lives of homeless men, women and children.
“We look forward to the playhouse’s unveiling to the public at Minute Maid Park this summer.”
Team Project Playhouse include Michael Pomerleau, construction (lead); Franklin Gonzalez, construction; Daniel Cogan, construction; David Wood, construction; Caroline Noel, coordinator; Sarah Starr, marketing; Keeley Motton, marketing; Roger Hollingworth, purchasing manager; Rainbow Hayden, purchasing, and Roo Popp, purchasing/sales.
