Pomona has new models under way
Pomona, Hillwood Communities’ 1,000-acre Live Smart residential community in Manvel, announced the addition of three new model homes.
Perry Homes will have two model homes for buyers to tour by late summer. Perry will offer homes on 50-foot and 55-foot lots ranging from 1,600 to 3,300 square feet.
“We are excited to introduce Perry Homes, a highly respected Houston builder, who will bring a new set of designs priced from the mid-$200,000s,” said Russ Bynum, general manager for Hillwood Communities.
Perry will join the group of builders — Coventry Homes, David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes, Plantation Homes and Trendmaker Homes. Highland is also under construction, with a new model home giving buyers even more choices at Pomona in the 50-foot lot section.
All builders are offering homes priced from the mid$200,000s to the $600,000s, with a wide selection of floor plans for those who want to build or several new homes at various stages of construction for those needing immediate move-in.
Pomona also recently opened its latest amenity, Camp Pomona. The camp features two resort-style pools and furniture, nine cabanas, an “exploration zone” and an event lawn that overlooks the bayou, serving as a gathering place for residents.
In addition to Camp Pomona, residents have been enjoying the popular Fish Camp that opened last summer with a stocked 5-acre lake, pier and fishing hut with seating.
Children living in Pomona will be part of the Alvin ISD, where students will attend Pomona Elementary, Rodeo Palms Junior High and Shadow Creek High. Pomona Elementary is nearing completion and will be open this Fall. The on-site school is within walking distance for Pomona’s youngest residents.
Pomona is two miles from a variety of shops, restaurants and recreational activities at the corners of Texas 288 and FM 518, and 15 miles south of downtown
