Vicki Barazandeh has joined Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty as a broker associate; Laura Domingue, Linda Plant and Debbie Hassenmiller have joined the company as Realtor associates. Domingue and Plant will work from the Galleria office. Hassenmiller will be working from the newest location in the Cypress area.
With more than 15 years in the real estate industry, Barazandeh is a consistent top producer. Her successful career was aided by her extensive knowledge in architectural design and new construction.
Domingue has spent more than 25 years in various sales industries. Domingue has been successful in numerous positions, which include luxury-home products, china and silver. She also gained negotiation experience with her time in the oil and gas lease-acquisition industry.
Plant is passionate about preserving the country lifestyle and has extensive knowledge of the farm and ranch properties across multiple counties, including Fayette, Austin and Colorado.
Hassenmiller’s experience in interior design has provided a substantial foundation for her real estate career. Her vision for home details made home staging a natural progression in her real estate background.
Lisa Herald and Alexis Van de Ven have joined RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring.
Herald joined the company as an associate and will specialize in domestic and international relocation. She lived in Saudi Arabia and Venezuela for 14 years, with a permanent move to The Woodlands in 2005. Herald, fluent in Spanish, is a certified luxury home marketing specialist and an accredited buyer representative.
Licensed since 2009, Van de Ven worked with Realtor Robin Windham through rental investment properties, and has now been invited to join the office’s newly formed The Robin Windham Team. Born and raised in The Woodlands area, Van de Ven is very familiar with the north Houston area. Nancy Cooper has joined RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring’s Louise & Associates team. After eight years in engineering as a project controls manager, she had a home built, and that’s when she fell in love with real estate. Cooper is familiar with the Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe and Huntsville areas.
Kim Nelson has joined Becky Drake Team at RE/ MAX The Woodlands & Spring. During her 30plus years in the custom home-building business in The Woodlands, Nelson learned that buying or selling a home can be an emotional and exciting journey, by helping thousands of people along the path. She is the new office administrator and licensed assistant on the Becky Drake Team.
Leading Real Estate Companies of the World awarded the President’s Service Award to Kirsten Abney, senior vice president of Heritage Texas Properties, during the recent LeadingRE Conference held in Miami Beach. The annual award recognized Abney’s outstanding contributions to LeadingRE through committee participation, conference presentations, and service on diverse advisory councils and boards.
At the conference, Abney led a panel discussion focused on assisting LeadingRE members with the process of earning the RELO Quality Certification (RQC). Under Abney’s leadership, Heritage Texas Properties earned the RQC in 2015. Also this year, the Relocation Directors Council appointed Abney to its board of directors. Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene announced Monica Sikes has joined the Friendswood sales office as an agent, Jana Laramore has joined the Lake Houston sales office as an agent, Shelley Kopsick has joined the Bridgeland sales office as an agent and Vanessa Trevino has joined the Champions sales office as an agent.
Sikes comes to Gary Greene after many years as a business owner. She stages listings, markets them on more than 1,000 websites, hosts open houses and utilizes a proprietary database to target buyers for a home.
Before entering real estate, Laramore worked as a photographer and studio manager, and was involved in both coaching her employees and working directly with customers to ensure the results the wanted. Having grown up moving often, she is personally familiar with relocation to a variety of areas.
Kopsick received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M in 1997, and from there began working in the Houston mortgage industry as a loan originator and later an account executive.
Trevino worked as a postal worker, where she honed her multitasking and time management skills, as well as her customer service abilities. She speaks fluent Spanish. DEBBIE HASSENMILLER
