Lew advises clients in investing based on present, future needs

Realtors go through extensive training to ensure they can assist buyers with probably the largest purchase of their life.

“Many believe that they can purchase/sell without the assistance of a Realtor. I do not suggest taking this potentially costly gamble. Utilizing an experienced and knowledgeable Realtor can save time, and money in the long run,” said Lynette Lew, Realtor, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene and Gary Greene Commercial Properties.

Lew is an active residential and commercial real estate agent, and goes where clients are interested, from Conroe to Galveston and as far west as Fulshear, with her office being centrally located in Memorial.

Generally, it is always a good time to buy in the Houston area. Our soughtafter areas have seen steady increases in price and Lew advises clients in investing based on present and future needs.

Lew is a native Texan and has been in Houston for 25 years.

Recently, she tore down her 78-year-old home and rebuilt, and she learned a few things through this process that her clients now benefit from.

Lew has been in real estate for the past 12 years.

“I took a real estate class in college and I was hooked. Yet, in college, I started in retail/wholesale. After 17 years in retail, I knew it was time to return to my first love — real estate.

“The retail experience gave me a strong foundation of business skills that my clients appreciate today,” Lew said.

These skills, along with her love of people and market knowledge, assisted Lew in ranking in the top 10 agents with BHGRE, which is impressive since the company has more than 1,000 agents.

She has also consistently been in the top three percent or higher of BHGRE nationally.

Lew is known for being a workaholic, loving what she does, being a good listener, honest, dedicated, tenacious, analytical as well as fun.

“Many buyers focus on the sales price instead of what their monthly payments and future improvements may be. Part of my job is to work with them on the numbers and to try to ensure they will be moving into a home, where if repairs are needed or they want to remodel in a few years, they will be able to,” Lew said.
