Arjona knows the challenges of relocating firsthand

- By Rebecca Maitland

Karla Arjona, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker United, Realtors, moved to Houston 17 years ago from Mexico, and has been in real estate for almost a decade.

“I understand what it is like to move from another country, finding a place to live, finding your way around, making new friends, finding doctors and new schools for the children, finding needed stores and amenities, and starting a new life. So, I understand what my clients are going through when they relocate here from another country, state or city,” Arjona said.

For Arjona, real estate was her first choice when she decided to make a change in her life, not only because of her love of people, the opportunity to be out and about, but mainly so she could help people find the abode where their family could grow and make memories.

“Home is so important. It serves as the base for a family,” Arjona said.

Arjona has worked with clients from more than 30 countries, and understands different cultures and personalities. She is also bilingual in Spanish and English in speaking, writing and reading.

“It is important to ask clients the right questions, to fully understand what a client is seeking. Sometimes it is the second question that clarifies what a client needs,” she said.

Arjona, a full time Realtor whose focus area is the southwest such as Sugar Land, Richmond, Rosenberg, etc., is known for being very organized, available to her clients, holds a Master Certified Negotiation Expert designation, and is an expert with digital marketing for her clients selling. She also is known for putting clients first.

Her clients appreciate her extensive market knowledge, experience and sincerity, and refer her to their friends and family.

“I love what I do, and I love working with clients in all price ranges, and finding the right home for them. But the real joy from working hard for my clients comes when I see them happy. I want my clients to walk out of closings with a big smile on their face. That is when I know I’ve done my job,” Arjona said.
