2 held in theft, pepper-spray attack at store
Two suspected makeup thieves accused of pepper-spraying a 73-year-old man are behind bars on aggravated robbery charges.
Joshlyn Robinson, 19, and 20-year-old Mariah Le Ann Inman were both collared Friday in the Nov. 22 Walmart thefts and spray attacks.
The pair allegedly strolled into a Spring Walmart at 2901 Riley Fuzzel the day before Thanksgiving and started swiping makeup and other goods from the store shelves.
When someone confronted them on their way out, the women began spraying anyone in their way, including a 73-year-old worker, according to the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office.
The two fled the store, and the constable’s office later released store security footage in hopes of identifying them and the gray sedan they fled in.
Just two days after authorities put out a call for help from the public, constables picked up both women on aggravated robbery charges, jail records show.
The two suspects are being held on $50,000 bail. From staff reports
