Responding to Harvey

Regarding “Greater Houston region’s leaders grapple with Harvey aftermath” (Chron.com, Friday), the answer is simple: Create a long-term, financially and ecologically responsible plan to dredge all the bayous 10-feet down, and use all the dirt to reinforce, develop and create new reservoirs.
