Elyson’s students now attend three new Katy ISD schools

-

Students living in Elyson attend three Katy Independent School District schools opened in 2017 and 2016, comprising a modern K-12 tri-campus at Clay and Peek roads, approximately two miles from the community.

Bethke Elementary School opened in 2016, with a new design that focuses on collaborative learning and sharing technology.

Stockdick Junior High and Paetow High School opened in 2017.

Connected by a learning green the size of eight football fields, the schools also focus on collaborative learning, along with individualized instruction and real-world educational experiences.

Many Elyson residents chose the community because of its acclaimed Katy ISD schools.

“We moved to Elyson last summer, and we were very excited about the new schools,” said Cecilia Turner. “My son started as a freshman at Paetow, and my daughter began the seventh grade at Stockdick.”

Relocating to Houston from Dallas, Turner did careful research on area school districts.

Elyson resident Julie David is also happy to see her twins thriving in kindergarten at Bethke Elementary.

“We want to dig in our heels and stay here until they graduate from high school,” she said.

Located at Grand Parkway and FM 529, between I-10 west and U.S. 290 west, Elyson offers new homes priced from the low $200,000s to $500,000s.

The Elyson Model Home Village showcases 14 furnished model homes and is a short walk from the Welcome Center, located in Elyson’s first major amenity, Rorick House.
