Relocations bring changes to downtown law scene
Yetter Coleman is getting new downtown offices with a built-in courtroom for trial preparation at 811 Main.
The business and technology litigation firm will occupy 24,494 square feet on the 41st floor at 811 Main beginning in March, commercial real estate firm CBRE announced. The new office allows room for expansion for the firm, which was founded in 1997.
"As we continue to grow, it is important to have offices that our team will love and let us stay downtown near our clients and the courts," managing partner Paul Yetter said in an announcement.
Ziegler Cooper Architects designed the new space, which is being built by Trademark HITT.
"The building's location and amenities perfectly fit our culture and recruiting efforts," partner Collin Cox said. "The new space was built with a focus on collaboration and training and features a courtroom that all of us will use to prepare for trial."
Craig Beyer of CBRE represented Yetter Coleman, which is relocating from 2 Houston Center. Eric Anderson with Transwestern represented 811 Main.
Meanwhile, Foster, an immigration law firm founded by Charles Foster in 1973, is leaving downtown’s JPMorgan Chase Tower for Greenway Plaza.
The law firm has 23,049 square feet in Three Greenway Plaza, Parkway Property Investments announced. Foster represents global employers, emerging and middle market companies, investors and individuals and families.
"The move to Greenway Plaza offers convenience for not only our lawyers but clients as well; and most importantly, the transition allows the firm the space and flexibility to start implementing new and innovative ways of providing immigration representation to our clients more efficiently," chairman Charles Foster said in an announcement.
Jay Bonano and Steve Biegel, formerly with Savills Studley and now with Newmark Knight Frank, represented Foster in the lease. J.P. Hutcheson led the negotiations for Parkway.
