Bishops Cuts/Color prepares for Texas expansion
Bishops Cuts/Color is expanding into Texas beginning with two hair studios in developments of Braun Enterprises. The first, a 1,298-square-foot location at 3100 Fannin in Midtown, is slated to open in June. A 1,400-square-foot location at 2522 Yale in the Heights will follow in November or December. James Namken and Brett Levinson with Weitzman represented the tenant in cooperation with Anne Mendez of FranSite.
Braun Enterprises has signed up two more tenants for its proposed center at 2401 N. Shepherd across from the upcoming Heights H-E-B. Eyes on the Heights Optometry, represented by Patrick Valentz and Quy Nguyen of Xite Realty, has leased 2,000 square feet. Club Pilates, represented by Lane Zieben with Retail Connection, has leased 1,500 square feet. Braun anticipates breaking ground on the 25,000-squarefoot project in October, said director of leasing Zach Wolf. Lovett Dental also plans a location there.
Jinya Ramen Bar has leased 2,665 square feet in the Heights Waterworks development at West 20th and Nicholson streets from Braun Enterprises. John Nguyen of NewQuest Properties represented the tenant. Zach Wolf represented the landlord.
Hungry Howie's Flavored Crust Pizza has leased 1,525 square feet at Cresent Park Shopping Center, 13548 Beechnut. Jim Thompson and Benny Nguyen of Retail Solutions represented the landlord. Kyle Knight of Weitzman represented the tenant.
Marble Slab Creamery has leased 1,400 square feet in Chambers Town Center, at Interstate 10 and Texas 146 in Baytown. Austen Baldridge, Bob Conwell and Brad Elmore represented the landlord, NewQuest Properties. Andrew Margolick of ARM Consulting represented the tenant.
