Johnson’s skills, passion for homes benefit her clients

- By Rebecca Maitland

Houston’s population growth has and continues to have a favorable impact on our housing market — particularly strong inside the Loop and Memorial area.

“I believe we will continue to see a strong housing market in Houston as we continue to see our population increase,” said Amy Johnson, a Realtor with Greenwood King Properties.

Johnson’s main focus area is where she calls home, the Inner Loop, as well as the Memorial area.

“The Inner Loop is very diverse. There is a neighborhood for everyone in this area. We have easy access, oftentimes walkable, to world-class restaurants, entertainment, parks and more. The right agent will help you find the home that fits your needs and wants,” Johnson said.

Whether you are looking for a home in an established neighborhood or in one of our many neighborhoods experiencing rapid growth, there are homes available. Spring is historically the busiest season for buying and selling.

Johnson entered the real estate industry to follow her passion for homes. Prior to obtaining her license, she would research and analyze the real estate market as well as touring homes.

“I would tell friends to look at a certain home that I thought they would like. After a handful purchased homes that I had recommended, I knew I wanted to make this a full-time career,” Johnson said.

Before real estate, Johnson worked in human resources with a large investment company that was client driven. In this role, she honed her skills for listening and understanding clients’ desires, managed expectations, multitasking, patience, research, attention to details and strong organization skills.

Johnson is known for her professionalism and being driven to meet her clients’ goals.

Plus, she is always working in the best interest of her clients, and is easy to work with, flexible and aims for a smooth transaction where all parties are satisfied.
