Miss Elizabeth Ann Sage Weds Mr. Austin Bauer McLaurin
Elizabeth Ann Sage and Austin Bauer McLaurin were united in marriage on Saturday, April 7th, 2018 at seven o’clock in the evening at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Father Juan Torres. Divisi Strings and the groom’s cousin, Nicole Teuber, provided the music for the ceremony. A reception immediately followed at Houston Country Club with entertainment provided by Infinite Groove. On the eve of the wedding the parents of the groom hosted a Rehearsal Dinner at Ousie’s Table.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sage of Houston. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Melnar and Dr. and Mrs. William Sage, all of Victoria, Texas.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve McLaurin of Fort Worth. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sabino Testa of Fort Worth and Mr. Jesse McLaurin and the late Mrs. Dolores McLaurin of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a couture gown designed by Ramona Keveza. The one-shoulder Blush gown of silk featured a fitted natural waist bodice. The ball gown skirt fell into a grand circular train.
To compliment the gown, the bride wore a cathedral-length veil with ivory piping detail around the edge. The bride carried a lush bouquet of beautiful roses and peonies in shades of white and blush.
Serving as her maid of honor was her sister, Caroline O’Connor Sage of Houston. Bridesmaids were Sarah Gilliland Stanley of Houston and Victoria Ann McLaurin of Little Rock, Arkansas; Hannah O’Connor Sage, Grace Margaret Berndt, Kaitlin Keegan Sluck, and Alexandra Elise Friedman of Fort Worth; Nicole Jones and Olivia Nicole Nucci of New York City, New York. Serving as her Junior Bridesmaid was Annie Rose Berndt of Fort Worth. Flower Girls were Caroline Sage Perry and Charlotte Murray Perry of Houston, and Maxi Jeanne Hellman of Fort Worth.
James Randall Teuber of Fort Worth served the Groom as Best Man. Groomsmen included Andrew Dennis O’Connell, Timothy Christopher O’Sullivan III, Andre Jerome Gibson, Michael Anthony Roy and Paul Robert Hellman of Fort Worth; Samuel “Z” Hall of Dallas and John Walker Johnson IV of Arlington; William Anderson Sage and Thomas MacDougal Sage of Houston. Serving as Ushers were Tucker Owen Christenson of Fort Worth and Zachary Ellis Knippel of Plano. Serving as Ring Bearer was Max Kendall Akin of Fort Worth.
The bride is a 2012 graduate of St. Agnes Academy in Houston. She attended Texas Christian University and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree in Painting, and a minor degree in Business. She is a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Currently, the bride is a working artist and event manager at Hurley House in Fort Worth.
The groom is a 2010 graduate of Southwest Christian School in Fort Worth. He is a 2014 graduate of Texas Christian University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies with a minor degree in Energy Technology and Management. Currently, the groom is an Oil and Gas Marketing Representative at Hunt Oil Company in Dallas.
Following their honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Fort Worth.
