UNTUCKit, Tubs Poutine to make Houston debuts
UNTUCKit will open a 1,986square-foot store Tuesday in the Galleria. It will be the brand’s first store in Houston and 27th nationwide. The store specializes in shirts that are designed to be worn untucked.
Tubs Poutine has leased 1,588 square feet at 13429 Briarforest near Eldridge for its first restaurant in Houston. Brian Nguyen is opening the restaurant, which makes poutine, a French Canadian dish that includes French fries, cheese curds, gravy and other toppings. Stayce Nguyen with Lone Star Realty represented the tenant. Kristen Barker with Wulfe & Co. represented the landlord.
Whole Foods Market 365 announced that Peli Peli Kitchen and Juice Society will open inside its new store in the Independence Heights neighborhood. The 365 store, the second in Texas and the 10th in the nation, will open this summer at 101 North Loop West at Yale.
Music & Arts announced a new store in The Market at Crenshaw, at 4557 East Sam Houston Parkway South, in Pasadena. The store offers private and group lessons, instruments and accessories, instrument rentals and repairs. Founded in 1952, Music & Arts is based in Frederick, Md., and has more than 170 stores nationwide with 10 in the local market.
Deiso Moss has hired Weitzman to handle leasing for Aliana, a planned retail center at West Airport Boulevard and FM 1464 in the Aliana master-planned community. The project, totaling 28,950 square feet in two buildings, is expected to break ground this fall. Kyle Knight and Walker Kane are marketing the center for restaurant, retail and medicaldental-beauty uses.
Tune Up Manly Salon has leased 1,883 square feet at the Shops at Woodcreek, 1433 FM 1463, Katy. Inna Gallagher represented the landlord, Rubicon Realty Group.
Decadent Coffee & Dessert Bar leased 1,300 square feet at 350 Promenade Way in the Crossing at Telfair, a mixed-use development with hotels, office and retail in Sugar Land. Rubicon Realty Group plans to complete more than 45,000 square feet of retail space this fall.
DaVinci Body Sculpting has opened at Memorial Green, 12525 Memorial Drive.
Singapore Kitchen has leased 1,600 square feet in Lakeside Shopping Center, 10846 Westheimer. Joe Jameson of Kagan Realty Investors represented the landlord, Kagan Properties Venture I. Melissa Gerber Brams of Gerber Realty represented the tenant.
