Native Karen K. Stowers knows Houston area well
When it comes to real estate, Houston is blessed with a strong market, usually year round, and with the continual influx of those relocating in or transferring out, homes are available.
“In all areas, we are seeing an inventory of homes in all price points, and so this is a very good time to buy or sell,” said Karen K. Stowers, Realtor with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty.
Stowers’ main focus areas include the Heights, West University, Inner Loop and Spring Valley, which is some of the most popular areas in Houston. They are also the areas this native Houstonian knows well, as she grew up in River Oaks and now lives in the Heights.
Prior to becoming a full-time Realtor, Stowers was in on-site sales for a builder, where she increased her knowledge base of construction and the real estate industry.
“Becoming a full-time Realtor 15-plus years ago, was the natural progression, and I love it. I love meeting new people, the fast pace, helping my clients find the right house, and everything about the industry,” Stowers said.
Stowers builds friendships with her clients, and many times they return when they are ready to make a change in their lives. Plus, most of her clients are referrals from her satisfied clients, which speaks highly of the quality service she provides.
Her keen listening ear is one of her greatest assets as she navigates clients through the buying and selling process. She is also known for her honesty, friendliness, being outgoing, and being available to her clients. She offers strong negotiation and organization skills, and her up-front communication, management of expectations, and her complete follow-through from beginning to closing are key, so her clients do not have any surprises through the process.

She is also involved in the community, volunteering at her daughter’s school, and serves as a Kids Hope Mentor through St. Luke’s Methodist Church, where she is a Sunday School teacher with her husband.
