Brooklyn Pizzeria, Gyro Guys ink new locations
Quattro Venture has purchased seven area shopping centers totaling more than 137,000 square feet in a portfolio deal brokered by Edge Capital Markets. The centers, ranging from 16,000 to 22,000 square feet each, are: Coles Crossing III at 24120 Northwest Freeway, Cypress; River Pointe Center at 20400 Southwest Freeway, Richmond; River Gate Center at 1135 Crabb River Road, Richmond; U.S. 290 & Mueschke at 27200 U.S. 290, Cypress; Canyon Lakes Shopping Center at 9739 N. Sam Houston Parkway E., Humble; Clay Road Crossings at 21927 Clay; and Miramesa Retail Center at 9212 Fry Road, Cypress. Josh Jacobs and Burdette Huffman of Edge Capital Markets represented the sellers.
Retorra, a designer and manufacturer of custom rugs, has opened an 1,148-square-foot showroom in Hollywood Square at 3637 W. Alabama at Timmons. Barry Sandler of Sandler Realty represented the landlord, Hollywood Square.
Brooklyn Pizzeria has leased 2,402 square feet at Shoppes at Sienna Plantation, 9303 Texas 6, Missouri City. Jim Thompson of Retail Solutions represented the tenant. Christy Nayes Bowen of Fox & Graham represented the landlord. It will be the seventh area location for the chain, which is owned by the Shahini family.
The Gyro Guys leased 1,300 square feet at The Shops at Northpark, 1310 Northpark Drive, Kingwood, for a second location. Marco’s Pizza and Smallcakes recently opened in the center. Inna Gallagher represented the landlord, Rubicon Realty Group. Houston-based Star Cinema
Grill has started construction on a 12-screen theater in the District West mixed-use development at at 22125 FM 1093 in the Katy/ Richmond area. The theater, which has been in the works for a few years, is scheduled to open in early 2019. The first phase of District West, a 100-acre project planned for retail, restaurant, office and hotel developments at the Westpark Tollway and Peek Road, will open in fall 2019. Kristen Barker with Wulfe & Co. is handling leasing. Singh & Singh Investments/ Kids R Kids has purchased a 2-acre retail site in Brazos Town Center at FM 762 and Reading Road in Rosenberg from NewQuest Properties. Bob Conwell and Austen Baldridge represented the seller. Ronnie Miranda and Ryan Kelsall represented the buyer. SDR Retail has purchased 1.7 acres at 15818 Texas 288, Pearland, from Zucchini Group.
