Anne Margaret Windham McLeod, loving wife and mother, died on Sunday, June 3, 2018 surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Anne was born in Houston on November 4, 1966 to James Hardy Windham and Dorothy Endicott Windham. Her two children, daughter Caleigh and son Bradan, and her husband Scott survive her. Anne was preceded in death by her father Hardy Windham. Anne also leaves behind her mother Dorothy O’Shea, her stepfather Thomas O’Shea, her stepmother Shirley McGuire Windham, her brother Reagan Windham and numerous nephews and nieces.

Anne attended The Kinkaid School and graduated from Trinity University in 1989. She received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 1993. She practiced most recently with the Houston office of Husch Blackwell and spent most of her legal career focused on mass toxic tort defense work.

Anne was an extremely talented attorney who loved music, travel, and spending time with loved ones. She fought cancer with courage, grace and dignity bolstered by her family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Anne’s life will be held at ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 16th of June at the Chapel at Grace Presbyteri­an Church, 10221 Ella Lee Lane in Houston.

The family would like to thank Dr. Rodabe Amaria and her team at MD Anderson Cancer Center as well as Houston Hospice for their care of Anne.

In lieu of flowers, the family would gratefully appreciate contributi­ons made in Anne’s name to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, The Melanoma Research Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
