BARTON “BART” PARRISH RICHARDSON

1953-2018

-

Barton “Bart” Parrish Richardson was born on the 22nd of May 1953, and lived a solid life for 65 years, passing on the 4th of June 2018.

Bart was a straight shooter, honest and trustworthy in all his endeavors and relationships. He was a great promoter for anything he cared deeply about. The friendships that he held meant the world to him. He was respected for his values and always had an opinion. He had a compassionate heart for everyone he encountered. He loved his work and cherished his family all his life. He succeeded in everything he was passionate about as well as the way he lived his life until the end.

Bart attended the University of Texas and was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He began his profession in a career of sales and marketing immediately after graduation, focusing his efforts on real estate development and master planned communities in both Texas and Florida. His hobbies were spent playing golf and croquette, where he was the National Croquette Doubles Champion. He loved attending concerts and sporting events and mostly shared a passion of music with Diana and his brothers.

The blessing was that Bart and Diana met each other and shared a life and love that was so rare, making his final years happier than ever. Their relationship was a beautiful gift from God. Bart loved Diana more than he thought he could ever love anyone.

Bart was preceded in death by his father, Dana Richardson, Jr. He is survived by his wife Diana; her boys Kendall and Kyle Sherrill; his mother Linda; his siblings, Dana (Phyllis), Gary (Sheryl), Ben (Brenda) and Gail Lane (Burke);his aunt Lenore; and cousin David Dunwoody (Kackie); nieces and nephews Larry, Michael, Kevin, Tricia (Tyler), Summer (Justin), Kyle, Lindsay, Brett(Amy), Garrett, Matthew (Alex), and Christopher.
