Sarah Goodner has joined Martha Turner Sotheby’s Internatio­nal Realty as a Realtor associate. Goodner has expertise in home renovation, property management, developing Realtor training programs as well as contract compliance and office supervisio­n. She will be working from the Galleria office.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene announced that Nancy Ramos has joined the Lake Houston sales office; Denes Jafari, Julia Hamon and Tina Avila have joined the Champions sales office, Santie Niemand has joined the Cypress sales office, all of them as agents.

Ramos worked as a buyer in the home fashion industry in Los Angeles. After relocating to Houston, Ramos worked at a finance company. She also worked part time as a substitute teacher for Humble Independen­t School District. She is fluent in Spanish.

Jafari worked as a makeup artist and in sales, selling fine rugs. In her sales position, she learned to listen intently to each of her client’s needs in order to create a personaliz­ed and enjoyable experience.

Hamon graduated from the University of Houston. In college she worked for both Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate and at Equity Office Properties, where she managed commercial office properties. During her time at Equity Office Properties, she won the Class A Office Building of the Year Award. After graduation, she moved to Washington, D.C. and worked as an accountant.

Avila graduated from Stephen F. Austin University. She then went on to work at an oil and gas company in Houston for more than 18 years. As an export agent, Avila negotiated sales quotes to ensure her clients received the best deal possible. Avila is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently.

Before moving to Houston, Niemand lived in South Africa. She worked as a private secretary for both a large transporta­tion corporatio­n and later at a high school.

In May of 2009, Niemand and her family immigrated to Cincinnati, Ohio. The communicat­ion skills she learned from her careers in South Africa inspired her to pursue a career in real estate in 2013 at a prominent real estate brokerage in Cincinnati. During her time there, she was awarded the Gem award. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Afrikaans fluently.

Vanessa Frost Ellis is a sixth-generation Houstonian. Her love for houses drove her to pursue a career in residentia­l real estate.

Before joining the team at Beth Wolff Realtors Real Living, she worked as Realtor for another Houston real estate company and prior to that she managed new constructi­on home sales. Her knowledge of the real estate market expands from Memorial and the Inner Loop to the Fulshear and Simonton areas.
