John Leslie Myers, III, passed away at home in Houston, Texas, on November 12, 2018. Johnny was born at home in Des Arc, Arkansas on Easter Day, March 28, 1948. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, John L Myers, Jr. and Marjorie Brashears Myers, and his brother Paul Michael Myers. He is survived by his son John L Myers, IV, and spouse Stacey, his grand-children John L Myers V, and Jacob Myers, his son, Mikey Clark, and his daughter Aliesha Medley. Johnny is also survived by his loving sister and brotherin-law, Kathryn Myers Nettles and John Charles Nettles as well as their their children, Jay Nettles and Leslie Nettles Robertson and spouse Aaron Robertson, and grandson Reid Robertson, all of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by the family of his brother Michael in New Mexico: sister-in-law Lynn Myers, nephew Wyley Myers, niece Katie Myers Brownell and spouse Dylan Brownell, nephew Steven Myers and spouse Anita, grand-nephew Michael Myers, grand-nieces Lorelai Myers and Dani Myers. And his aunt Jeannie Myers Lindsey of Beebe, Arkansas. He leaves behind many cousins and friends who loved him and will miss him. He served many years as a police officer for City of South Houston, City of Pasadena, and Port of Houston. There will be a memorial service for Johnny at Forest Park East, 21620 Gulf Frwy at 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
