High-end touches complete ‘wow factor’ in luxury condos.

If you’re drawn to the luxurious side of life, Houston condominiums are aligned to offer the undeniable lavish lifestyle you’re craving.

Begin with the location, because it’s where you’ll be spending your relaxing hours, shopping excursions and dining experiences.

Mike Reddell, executive vice president-sales with Sudhoff Companies, said a high priority for residents is to live in a walkable area for themselves and their pets.

“The wow factor is the location. People want a place they can walk to dinner and have a cocktail. Residents want freedom. They don’t want to compromise. You see things in a different way,” he said.

The inside of your home is where the sumptuous life takes place.

Reddell said they worked to develop unique designs for their residences, with breathtaking skyline and citywide views. A diverse perspective is the goal.

“We decided to have windows from floor to ceiling and were able to create the window system.

“The views are too precious to compromise. It’s very different from living on the ground. It’s profound,” Reddell said.

The River Oaks, which was an adaptive reuse of an old condominium building, is one example of a space giving people “absolutely incredible views” of the city, Reddell said.

Interior finishes are also extravagant with one-of-a-kind, exceptional European products and spacious rooms with ample wall space.

“It always starts with a really great design,” Reddell said. “We work with our sister firm, Mirador. The rooms are proportionate for maximum natural light with large windows facing the appropriate direction. The layout offers the appropriate amount of wall space to display art with the right light.”

Closets from Rimadesio are Italian-designed and provide environmental awareness with functional partition and definition of spaces.

You will find “enormous master closets” in their high-rises that can be customized, according to Reddell.

“What we’re doing is so different. So many people want to create a custom closet design. Casa, our own retail store, has several closet manufacturers, and we’re able to bring those products in,” said Reddell.

Flooring from Listone Giordano also adds a special touch in buildings such as The Sophie and Giorgetti.

“We worked really hard to find high-end finishes that are extraordinary,” Reddell said. “This flooring is magnificent and made from French White Oak trees. It confers amazing qualities to the wood.

“The company is part old world, (part) new world. They’re in Bulgari stores and most luxury hotels throughout the world.”

Not to be missed is the astonishing lighting throughout luxury condos. Viabizzuno, who’s been designing products for more than 23 years, hits the mark, Reddell said.

“They are a small firm that has incredible, almost sculptural outdoor and indoor lighting,” he said.
