Mavericks hold off Celtics; Durant, Warriors edge Kings

DALLAS — Harrison Barnes and J.J. Barea scored 20 points apiece as the Dallas Mavericks outlasted the Boston Celtics 113-104 on Saturday night.

Luka Doncic and Wesley Matthews had 15 points apiece for the Mavericks, and center DeAndre Jordan finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 21 points while Kyrie Irving and Marcus Smart had 19 apiece.

WARRIORS 117, KINGS 116

Kevin Durant scored 44 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as Golden State edged Sacramento at Oakland, Calif.

Klay Thompson added 31 points for the Warriors.

Buddy Hield led the Kings with 28 points.

Rookie Marvin Bagley III had 20 points and 17 rebounds.

BUCKS 135, SPURS 129

Giannis Antetokoun­mpo scored 34 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead host Milwaukee.

The Spurs received 34 points from DeMar DeRozan.

NUGGETS 105 THUNDER 98

Jamal Murray scored 22 points to help Denver win at Oklahoma City.

Nikola Jokic and Trey Lyles each scored 16 points and Juancho Hernangome­z added 15 for the Nuggets, who won their third straight.

Russell Westbrook had 16 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds for his second triple-double of the season and the 106th of his career. Paul George had 24 points and 11 rebounds and Dennis Schroder added 18 points for the Thunder.

Oklahoma City shot just 35.9 percent from the field and was 9 of 39 on 3-pointers.

Otto Porter Jr. scored 29 points and John Wall added 22 as host Washington won.

Julius Randle led the Pelicans with 29 points and 15 rebounds. Teammate Nikola Mirotic added 24.

T-WOLVES 111, BULLS 96

Karl-Anthony Towns had 35 points and 22 rebounds, Derrick Rose scored 22 points off the bench and Minnesota pulled away in the fourth quarter for a victory over visiting Chicago.

Jeff Teague added 18 points for Minnesota, which won for the fifth time in seven games since trading Jimmy Butler.
