Albert Foster Richmond of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on November 15, 2018 at the age of 77.

e was born on May 24, 1941 in Olney, Texas to A. Foster Richmond and Dorothy Price Richmond.

Abe (as his friends called him) was a graduate of Texas Christian University and received a Bachelor in Business Administra­tion. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity where he met many of his closest friends. At TCU he also found the love of his life, Linda Jones. They met on a blind date and would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversar­y in March 2019.

He was a very successful entreprene­ur. Beginning in the early 1980’s, he was instrument­al in co-founding several oil and gas entities. Among them were American Oil and Gas and Olympic Pipeline Co. He was a member of St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church where he was a Stephen Minister.

In the last ten years, Abe battled Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s Disease. He had peace in knowing Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Abe’s greatest legacy is his story, how he treated people through his hard work, generosity, and mentorship. He was a role model of integrity, respect, kindness and good humor.

He is survived by his wife Linda; two children Lisa Carr, Lara Crouch and husband Michael; one sister, Kay Richmond; and was Poppy to his four grandchild­ren, Christa, Reid, Ryan and Ridge.

A private service will be held by the Richmond family. In lieu of customary remembranc­es, donations can be made to St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, 14301 Stuebner Airline Rd., Houston, Texas, 77069.
