Dec. 6 • 6 p.m VS Texas A&M Hous­ton Women’s Bas­ket­ball kicks off a new era, when they open the doors to the Fer­titta Cen­ter for the first time against a Top-20 op­po­nent in Texas A&M. In a throw­back to the for­mer South­west Con­fer­ence days, the Cougars and Ag­gies will meet for the sec­ond-straight year.

Jan. VS UConn 6 • 11 a.m. Peren­nial pow­er­house UConn heads to Hous­ton for Hous­ton’s Amer­i­can Ath­letic Con­fer­ence Opener in­side the Fer­titta Cen­ter. The 11-time na­tional cham­pi­ons are poised for an­other year as one of the top teams in the na­tion.

Feb. 2 • 2 p.m. VS SMU Each school fea­tures play­ers that are fa­mil­iar with the other as the in-state ri­valry fea­tures 10 stu­den­tath­letes from the state of Texas. Hous­ton swept the sea­son se­ries in 2017-18 by just a com­bined 14 points.

Feb. VS USF 27 • 7 p.m. USF is one of The Amer­i­can’s top teams year-in and year-out, and 2018-19 is no dif­fer­ent. The matchup against the Bulls fea­tures two of the high­est scor­ing teams in The Amer­i­can led by Jas­myne Har­ris of Hous­ton and Laura Fer­reira of USF.

March VS UCF 4 • 7 p.m. The reg­u­lar-sea­son fi­nale could have ma­jor im­pli­ca­tions for The Amer­i­can Cham­pi­onship the fol­low­ing week. Hous­ton was picked to fin­ish third in The Amer­i­can pre­sea­son poll, while UCF was picked fourth.
