Rockets (24-17) update: Guard Eric Gordon (knee) will be out again and probably through the end of this week. … James Harden was the first player in NBA history to record a 40-point triple-double in less than 30 minutes of play Friday in the 141-113 win over Cleveland. … Danuel House Jr. has started the last 10 games at forward and the Rockets are 8-2 in that stretch. … Gerald Green leads all NBA reserves in the last month with 45 3-pointers. Magic (18-24) update: Orlando had lost four in a row — the Magic’s longest skid of the season — until Saturday’s 105-103 win over the Celtics. … Mo Bamba, who played one season at Texas, sat out Saturday’s game against Celtics with a sore left foot. Bamba leads Orlando with 1.4 blocks per game. Statistica­lly speaking: 12, the number of 40-point triple-doubles for James Harden in his career, second most in NBA history.
