Agent organizes 1st annual Photos With Santa & Paws
To celebrate the holiday season, John Daugherty, Realtors agent Benjamin Dougharty organized the first annual Photos With Santa & Paws held at K-9 Angels Rescue in the Heights. Dozens of people brought their furry friends and beloved pets to pose for a photo with Santa.
Dougharty became involved with the organization when he adopted his dog, Sonny, from K9 Angels and gave him a forever home.
K-9 Angels Rescue is committed to rescuing and rehoming shelter dogs in and around the City of Houston, regardless of their breed or their circumstance.
They are motivated by the need to educate the public about the effects of breeding practices, while helping the community by alleviating overcrowding in area shelters. Since K9 Angels formed in 2012, some 5,708 dogs have been rescued and re-homed.
