Vintage Oaks leads growth in Hill Country real estate

-

The surge in real estate activity in the Texas Hill Country reached an all-time high in 2018.

According to Texas A&M University’s data reported December 2017-November 2018, land and home sales in Comal County increased 10 percent, while dollar sales increased 15 percent over the previous 12 months, reflecting an all-time high in unit sales and dollar volume.

Metrostudy data cited Vintage Oaks as the 2018 topselling land and home community in the Hill Country. Located along the Texas Wine Trail south of Canyon Lake, Vintage Oaks’ appeal spans across Texas for families seeking the space and low taxes of this dynamic, growing area.

“We drove out here one day, looked around and fell in love,” said Cheryl and Ed Wuesthoff. “The people really made this the place for us. We’ve been here three years now and know this is the place we want to spend the rest of our lives.”

Buyers in the 3,900-acre Vintage Oaks can enjoy the three pools, five miles of maintained hiking trails, lazy river, parks, playgrounds and the newly opened Fitness Club with classrooms, trainers and state-of-the-art equipment.

Activities in Vintage Oaks cater to families and adults, from the Summer Concert Series featuring notable national musicians to the poolside Family Night, monthly wine socials, dining out groups and more.

But the land is what draws everyone here. Homesites from 1 to 14 acres feature Hill Country views, unforgettable sunsets and sunrises, and mature oaks.

Whether building a custom home or buying an existing home, owners seeking the Hill Country lifestyle can find it in Vintage Oaks.

The newly opened Bear Creek neighborhood features 1to 2-acre, easy-build homesites, sweeping views, mature oaks and a convenient location close to the new community entrance, priced from the $90,000s.
