Frank passed away last Wednesday. He graduated in 1995 with a degree in Mechanical Engineerin­g from California Maritime Academy and spent his career in the oil industry, first with Transocean Drilling and for the last seventeen years with National Oilwell Varco in Houston. Well known and liked in the industry he was active with the Internatio­nal Associatio­n of Drilling Contractor­s (IADC) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). The author of over 50 patents he dedicated his working career to developing new and highly innovative solutions for the oil industry and more recently for the renewable energy industry. A dedicated athlete he completed his first Ironman triathlon in Florida in 2016 and was training for another. Frank was a loving and dedicated father and husband; the quintessen­tial family man he was involved with his daughters’ school activities and their swim team both as a coach and a judge. Frank is survived by the love of his life, his wife of twenty years Mercedes, their three daughters Adrianna, Sara and Megan and his father and sister. He will be missed by all the many people with whom he came in contact during his very active and tragically cut short life.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday February 5th at: The Klein Multi Purpose Center 7500 FM 2920 Klein TX 77379 In lieu of flowers the family has establishe­d a trust for the three girls’ future education.
