Meridiana opens Explorer’s Park outdoor family play experience
Another family park and playground has opened in Meridiana as the fast-growing community of new homes south of Pearland adds to its outdoor play experiences, all within walking distance from the community’s neighborhoods.
Meridiana’s 4-acre Explorer’s Park features climbers, slides, swings and other play equipment — all under a shaded canopy — with a tree-lined green space large enough for soccer, touch football and other group activities. The new park and playground experience also offers ample seating and a quarter-mile walking path encircling the tranquil setting.
The opening of Explorer’s Park will be followed by the early fall opening of Meridiana’s Park at Adventure Lake, a 23-acre lake experience for catch-and-release fishing, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. The park also will feature a sprawling, tree-lined setting and shaded family playground.
The 2017-2018 GHBA Community of the Year also is home to Iowa Colony City Park and the resident-only Oasis Village where Meridiana families enjoy the all-new Cafe Sol, family pool and custom cabanas, lap pool, splash pad, fitness center, fishing pier and outdoor area with all-weather ping pong and foosball tables, shaded seating areas and a central lawn.
Located south of Pearland on Texas 288, Meridiana presents new homes from the $230,000s to the $600,000s, including several ready for immediate move-in. Sixteen model homes, each fully furnished and expertly decorated, are open daily.
