Vargas is first to say to clients, welcome to Houston

When it comes to buying and/or selling a house, timing is everything.

“It is important to monitor the trends and the market and to stay informed. An experience­d and knowledgea­ble Realtor can help with this, because again, timing in real estate transactio­ns is important,” said Matt Vargas, a Realtor with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene.

Vargas goes where his clients are interested, which is everywhere in the greater Houston area, from The Woodlands to Sugar Land and Katy to around the Medical Center.

“Even though I am a full-service Realtor, I’m part of the relocation department so my clients are moving to the U.S. and/or Houston for the first time. Where they may be working helps dictate where they may be interested,” Vargas said.

Vargas loves introducin­g newcomers to the city, providing tips, and teaching them about America and Houston, in order to help them in making the area home.

“I love working with newcomers and sharing my enthusiasm of Houston and all it holds,” Vargas said.

As a native Houstonian, and after a decade in the industry, he offers exceptiona­l experience, and has a broad knowledge about the communitie­s and neighborho­ods throughout Houston and beyond.

“My father was a real estate developer, and right out of college I started working with him. One project that I am very proud of is a townhouse complex in Montrose that we built from the ground up, making all the choices about all the details,” Vargas


With the experience in working with his father, Vargas is able to advise clients on any renovation­s they may consider to an abode and be instrument­al in other parts of a transactio­n, such as inspection­s.

Vargas has also continued his education to ensure his clients receive the best possible service. He is a Certified Negotiatio­n Expert and has the Graduate, Realtor Institute, as well as others. His degree in marketing from Texas State University also is beneficial in marketing sellers’ homes to reach the largest audience.

Vargas is known for being efficient, experience­d, dependable, personable, enthusiast­ic, a people person, and for being available. He also loves working with his clients.

All of his experience and knowledge has led to Vargas being an awardwinni­ng Realtor, such as being the Top Producer every year since 2012, and the No. 1 Sales Leader in his Inner Loop office, due to the number of satisfied clients and the number of transactio­ns he has closed.
