Musical Lights, holiday market coming to Meridiana

Meridiana, the community of new homes south of Pearland, will celebrate the holidays with a drive-thru synchronized light experience and a holiday market of local vendors presenting handcrafted jewelry, custom clothing and accessories, fun items for the home and other unique finds.

Open daily starting Nov. 28 through the end of the year, Meridiana Musical Lights features thousands of twinkle lights along Meridiana Parkway performing to the sounds of the season. Upon arrival, families can set their radios to 87.9 FM and slowly drive the two-mile round-trip parkway for the optimal experience. Meridiana Musical Lights begins at dusk with free admission.

The holiday fun continues with Merry Meridiana Market on Saturday, Dec. 14, from noon-4 p.m. when families can browse for unique finds amongst dozens of local vendors in the community’s Oasis Village. Market goers also will enjoy free photos with Santa, bounce houses, petting zoo, craft vendors and food truck cuisine.

Meridiana’s showcase model homes, each fully furnished and expertly designed, also will be open during the holiday festivities. Plus, several end-of-year builder incentives are available on eligible move-in-ready homes.

The community south of Pearland presents new homes from the low $200,000s to the $600,000s, including many on cul-de-sac homesites and in gated sections. Residents enjoy year-round recreation, fitness and visiting with neighbors in the community’s lakefront Oasis Village, a resort-style setting featuring Cafe Sol, family pool and cabanas, lap pool, splash pad, fitness center, fishing pier and outdoor play area, all-weather ping pong and foosball tables, shaded sitting areas and lush central lawn.
