Miss Allison Catherine Fry Weds Mr. Benjamin Kahn Boxer

Miss Allison Catherine Fry and Mr. Benjamin Kahn Boxer were united in marriage on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah. Their friend Jared Gilbert officiated the double-ring ceremony. A reading was given by Karlon Paige Brammer, cousin of the bride.

After the wedding, a cocktail reception was held on the Flagstaff Deck of the Lodge. An evening of dinner and dancing followed in the Ballroom. Music for dancing was provided by Metro Music Club. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the High West Distillery in Park City.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Alexander Fry, Jr. of Houston, Texas. Allison is the granddaugh­ter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fry and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Sumner. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Richard James Boxer of Los Angeles, California. Benjy is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Sidney Boxer and the late Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Kahn.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. The bride selected an elegant silhouette gown of French Alencon lace designed by Rivini. A chapel length train completed the ensemble. Allison carried a hand tied bouquet of peonies, ranunculus, and greenery.

Mrs. Courtney Elizabeth Lerch of Houston, sister of the bride, served as the Matron of Honor. Mrs. Leslie Ballas of Los Angeles, California, sister of the groom, served as Honor Attendant for the groom. Miss Catherine Elizabeth Lerch of Houston, Texas, niece of the bride, and Miss Blythe Lauren Ballas, of Los Angeles, California, niece of the groom, were the Flower Girls. Mr. William Alexander Lerch and Mr. John Robert Lerch of Houston, Texas, nephews of the bride, were the Ring Bearers.

Allison is a graduate of St. John’s School in Houston. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropolo­gy from St. Olaf College where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Allison also received a Master of Business Administra­tion from Harvard Business School. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California. Allison works as a Management Consultant for Wellspring Consulting in New York City.

Benjy is a graduate of Nicolet High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvan­ia. He is the co-founder and CEO of Parsec, a gaming technology company, in New York City.

Allison and Benjy reside in New York City.
