Kristie Carruthers brings many skills to clients
Kristie Carruthers, a Realtor with Carruthers Real Estate Group, Better Homes and Gardens Gary Greene, brings a lot to the table when it comes to serving her clients.
Carruthers is a teacher by profession, with a master’s in education.
She taught school for many years and is at ease in helping clients learn about an area, schools, or the real estate process. She also is a good listener, learning all she can about her clients’ goals.
Being a teacher alone brings a wide range of talents and skills to clients, from understanding how different people learn to working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
After teaching, she moved into interior design and has an eye for seeing potential in a property, and if decor ideas are feasible.
As an interior designer, Carruthers worked with Realtors on staging. She also worked with their buyers.
‘A good fit’
“I thought it was interesting and being a
Realtor would be a good fit for me, and it was. It is. Plus, I can still use my interior design and education background in working with clients,” Carruthers said.
Carruthers also holds a BBA in human resources and organizational behavior.
She is also known for her honesty, integrity and a commitment to excellence.
Her main focus area is The Woodlands, an area she has called home for almost two decades.
And having raised four children, she knows the schools and area well.
“I help clients, buyers and sellers, all over the Houston area, but my primary focus is The Woodlands,” Carruthers said.
Carruthers also has a team of three agents that provides service all over the Houston area, not just The Woodlands.
And together, they can meet the clients’ goals.
This is also a great time to buy in The Woodlands. There are many houses on the market in different price ranges.
Carruthers has been in real estate for 13 years, and finds this industry exciting, and rewarding.
She loves working with her clients and helping them find the right home.
“Every day is something new and exciting,” Carruthers said.
Also, at this time of year there is less competition, and sellers are more willing to negotiate price.
“My team has received top producer award year after year and last year, we were awarded top producers in sales for the company,” she said.
