Roland Bodden offers building background
Roland Bodden, a Realtor with Greenwood King Properties, embodies the highest level of “everything real estate” that a client could ask for when buying or selling a home.
For example, he holds a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in construction management, both from Louisiana State University.
Moreover, his past work experience includes working as an architectural design and project manager; construction management repairing and remodeling high-end residential properties; landscape design; and design consultant for outdoor water garden features and other outdoor installations.
So, he not only knows the nuts and bolts of a home’s construction — literally, he also can provide suggestions for renovations or how a space could be used. He also has an eye for details.
And with the 2020 real estate market promising to be another busy year, his clients will benefit from his extensive knowledge in real estate, marketing and trends, and his past work experience and expertise.
Bodden’s focus areas are inside and outside of the Loop, namely West University, Southampton, River Oaks, Tanglewood, Memorial, Bellaire,
Heights and Energy Corridor.
“Also, I am pursuing opportunities in the Caribbean and Latin America by becoming a Certified International Property Specialist,” Bodden said.
Bodden was born and raised in New Orleans, moved to Houston three years ago and settled in the River Oaks/Afton Oaks area.
“I have gained valuable experience in all three major facets of residential development: Design, construction and landscape architecure. For much of the past 20 years I have been involved in the design and construction industry and was ready for a new challenge. I practiced architecture for eight-plus years and worked on the construction management side for almost as long. So real estate was a natural fit,” Bodden said.
He is fortunate to have transitioned to a career where he can use all his prior experience.
