Clippers rally in 4th, beat Pelicans

NEW ORLEANS — Kawhi Leonard scored 39 points as the Los Angeles Clippers rallied to beat the New Orleans Pelicans 133-130 on Saturday.

Lou Williams scored 14 of his 32 points during a dominant fourth quarter for Los Angeles, which outscored the Pelicans 31-20 in the final 12 minutes.

Williams’ 3 with 31.6 seconds left, after Patrick Beverley had rebounded Leonard’s miss, gave the Clippers a 133-127 lead and sent numerous fans toward the exits.

But J.J. Redick hit a quick 3, and after Leonard ran down the shot clock and missed a 3, New Orleans had 2.4 seconds for a tying 3 that Redick missed off the back rim.

SUNS 123, CELTICS 119

Devin Booker had 39 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists as visiting Phoenix overcame a franchise-record 11 3-pointers by Boston’s Marcus Smart.

Deandre Ayton had 26 points and Mikal Bridges added a career-best 26 for the Suns, who have won four of their last five.

RAPTORS 122, WOLVES 112

Fred VanVleet returned from a hamstring injury to score 29 points as Toronto won at Minnesota.

Kyle Lowry added 28 points and seven assists while Norman Powell scored 20 points off the bench for the Raptors, who have now won three straight games.

BUCKS 117, NETS 97

Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 29 points and 12 rebounds, Khris Middleton scored 20 points, and visiting Milwaukee cruised to its sixth straight victory.

The Bucks came in beating opponents by 12.4 points per game, and their lead was never below that.

PISTONS 136, HAWKS 103

Derrick Rose had 27 points and nine assists, Svi Mykhailiuk added 25 points in a reserve role, and Detroit won its second straight game with an easy victory at Atlanta.

Markieff Morris finished with 22 points off the bench, and Andre Drummond had 16 points, 17 rebounds and five steals as the Pistons won consecutiv­e games for the first time since Dec. 9.

WARRIORS 109, MAGIC 95

D’Angelo Russell scored 26 points and dished out a season-high 12 assists, and shorthande­d Golden State snapped its longest losing streak in nearly 18 years at 10 games against visiting Orlando.

Jordan Poole scored 21 points off the bench, and Eric Paschall had 20 points and nine rebounds as

Golden State also ended a five-game skid at home.

76ERS 90, KNICKS 87

Tobias Harris hit a goahead 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter, , and visiting Philadelph­ia won its third straight game.

Ben Simmons added 21 points for the 76ers, who snapped a six-game road losing streak.

BULLS 118, CAVALIERS 116

Zach LaVine scored 21 of his 42 points in the fourth quarter as host Chicago rallied from 15 points down in the final period.

Chicago, which trailed by as many as 19 points, held the Cavaliers to 14 points in the fourth period and forced 10 turnovers.

JAZZ 123, KINGS 101

Rudy Gobert had a season-high 28 points and 15 rebounds, and host Utah raced to a 16-point lead in the first quarter en route to its 16th win in 18 games.

Bojan Bogdanovic had six 3-pointers on his way to 30 points.

THUNDER 119, BLAZERS 106

Chris Paul matched a season high with 30 points as Oklahoma City beat visiting Portland.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 22 points, and Dennis Schroder and Nerlens Noel each added 15 for Oklahoma City.
