Meridiana completes record sales year of new homes

-

New home sales in Meridiana, the community of new homes south of Pearland, went up to 70% in 2019 as buyers opted for the well-designed neighborhoods and showcase model homes in record numbers.

The Texas 288 community recorded 267 new home sales in 2019, an increase largely attributed to its new parks and community amenities, quality builder lineup and new neighborhoods.

Last year, the community added Drees Custom Homes, several new models and a new, gated section of 50-foot homesites stretching 150 feet in depth.

Meridiana opened its Park at Adventure Lake for catch-and-release fishing, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. It also added the 5-acre Explorer’s Park and extended its trail system.

This year, Meridiana will welcome new luxury townhomes by Lennar and new sections featuring 45 80-foot homesites with new homes from the low $200,000s.

Five new models by Chesmar Homes, David Weekley Homes, Perry Homes and Plantation Homes also will open.

Construction is underway on Meridiana’s new onsite Alvin ISD middle school, scheduled to open fall 2021. A new high school, currently under construction, also is planned to open adjacent to the community in fall 2022. The 2017-2018 GHBA Community of the Year presents new homes, priced from the low $200,000s to the $600,000s, including those ready for immediate move in.

Residents enjoy unlimited access to Meridiana’s lakefront Oasis Village a resort-style setting with the all-new Cafe Sol, family pool and cabanas, lap pool, splash pad, fitness center, fishing pier and outdoor play area, shaded sitting areas and lush central lawn.
