Realtor Liz Daniel’s skills go beyond the real estate transaction
After enjoying the process of remodeling and selling her personal homes, from finding a good deal on a house, working with the architects and contractors, shopping for products for the house such as finishes and surfaces, and marketing the home for sale, Liz Daniel decided to become Realtor and obtained her license.
“Real estate was a natural for me and I’ve made it my career,” said Daniel, a Realtor with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty.
She has been in real estate for the past 15 years and has seen the market fluctuate, but in Houston, it is usually a good time to buy or sell throughout the year.
Prior to real estate, Daniel sold radio advertising in her 20s and then started her own media buying service.
“I have been negotiating large deals since I graduated from college. Radio was a great feeder to real estate because it gave me a foundation on how to manage client expectations and how to interact with diverse personalities. In both industries, I met a broad range of people, all of which I found and continue to find interesting and sincerely enjoy,” Daniel said.
Daniel’s focus areas include River Oaks, West University/Southampton, Montrose, and Memorial. She has lived in her focus area for the past decades, and so she knows the area well and enjoys showing her clients the many amenities the areas offer.
“This is an excellent time for buyers in these areas. We have many homes on the market,” Daniel said.
She is also an awardwinning Realtor and a longstanding member of the MTSIR Circle of Excellence, which honors the company’s top producers each year.
Daniel is known for being a sincere people person and loves to meet new people. She looks forward to open houses each weekend because they are like “a story waiting to unfold.”
“You never know who is going to walk through the door. I am not the Realtor who sits quietly at the table while the potential buyers tour the house on their own. I know their full story by the time they leave,” Daniel said.
Daniel is also known for going the extra mile for her clients, even if it means climbing up on the roof to take a picture.
“Each client and transaction are unique. This is what keeps it interesting and fun for me and why I love what I do. I love my clients and finding the perfect home for them,” Daniel said.
