Houstonians get in step with girl power
Female empowerment was on full display during the Houston Women’s March on Saturday, when the Colectivo Feminista de Houston group, above, performed on the steps of City Hall. Kaelynn Hester, 10, at left, dressed as “Rosie the Riveter,” joined hundreds of other marchers, right, in Buffalo Bayou Park to advocate for gender equality, civil rights and women’s issues.
