Jazz top Pistons; Cavs upset Nuggets

DETROIT — Bojan Bogdanovic scored 32 points and the Utah Jazz withstood two big Detroit rallies to beat the Pistons 111-105 on Saturday night for their fifth straight victory.

Donovan Mitchell scored 25 points for Utah.

Utah led by 22 points in the second quarter, but the Pistons came all the way back to tie it early in the fourth.

Christian Wood scored a career-high 30 points for Detroit.

CAVS 104, NUGGETS 102

Kevin Love scored 27 points, hitting the goahead basket with four minutes remaining, and the Cleveland surprised visting Denver for the second time this season.

Collin Sexton scored 25 points to help Cleveland end a four-game losing streak.

The Cavaliers played without center Andre Drummond and rookies Darius Garland and Kevin Porter Jr.

Will Barton led Denver with 22 points.

GRIZZLIES 118, HAWKS 101

Jonas Valanciuna­s had 27 points and 17 rebounds, rookie Ja Morant added 24 points and host Memphis beat Atlanta to keep their hold on the final Western

Conference playoff spot.

Josh Jackson had 17 points, Dillon Brooks and De’Anthony Melton added 13 each.

John Collins led the Hawks with 27 points.

WARRIORS 118, 76ERS 114

Eric Paschall scored 23 points as Golden State beat Philadelph­ia to snap a 10-game home losing streak.

Playing once again without Stephen Curry, the Warriors trailed most of the game and were down by eight entering the fourth quarter.

Curry, who returned from a 58-game absence to play Thursday night, was diagnosed with the flu and was held out.

Damion Lee had Lee finished with 24 points and six rebounds for the Warriors.

Tobias Harris scored 24 points for Philadelph­ia.

KINGS 123, BLAZERS 111

Bogdan Bodanovic had 28 points and 8 assists and Buddy Heild added 22 points as Sacramento beat Portland on the road.

De’Aaron Fox added 14 points and 11 assists.

Hassan Whiteside and CJ Mcollum led the Trail Blazers in scoring with 19 apiece. Damian Lillard added 12 with six assists.
