Lately: The Rockets’ loss in Charlotte on Saturday was their third of the week, giving them their longest losing streak since their season-long four game skid from Jan. 14-20. The Magic snapped a three-game losing streak with a win in Minneapolis. The Magic are 4-4 since the All-Star break.
Scouting the Rockets: The Rockets have a seven-game winning streak against the Magic at Toyota Center. … The Rockets, who play five of their next seven at home, have won seven of their past nine at Toyota Center. … The Rockets are 3-5 in the second half of back-to-backs. …
The Rockets have faced first-half deficits of 17, 17, 26 and 20 points in their past four games. … Averaging 27.5 points per game this season, Russell Westbrook has averaged 32.2 points in the games following the 10 he has sat out this season. … James Harden had his fourth triple-double of the season Saturday with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists, but he also had 10 turnovers, one shy of his most this season.
