-

1975-2021

Jodi Lynn Braham, daughter, sister, beloved niece, cousin and best friend to so many, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in Houston, Texas. Jodi was born in Houston on September 17, 1975 as the first born child of Sarah and Denis Braham. Jodi attended Beth Yeshurun Day School, I. Weiner Middle School, Bellaire High School and later, after a gap year in Israel, received her undergraduate degree from Simmons College, Boston, Mass.

Jodi spent her career as a graphic designer, working on many projects for private clients and well known companies. She was a passionate and creative force of nature, precise in her work and devoted to perfection. Jodi loved to give of her time and talents. She is well known for her many ceramic pieces that she created at the Glassel School of Art. Her love of life extended well beyond her career to her entire family and many friends from near and far. She was adored by all who knew her for her charm, wit and the loving hand that she extended to everyone. All can truly say that when Jodi came into a room, the room lit up even brighter. No one can explain the ways of the world, but what we do know is that her footsteps in life created lifelong memories and love for the many she held so dearly, young and old.

Jodi helped her community in many ways serving on numerous boards and committees including the Young Business and Professionals of the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston, The Houston Jewish Community Foundation, Camp Young Judaea, Israel Bonds and several others. She was the consummate giver of her time, talent and energy. She left us all too soon.

Jodi is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, David and Edith Daily and her paternal grandparents, Harry and Anne Braham and her uncle Paul Braham. She is survived by her loving parents, Sarah and Denis Braham, her devoted brother, David and wife Jennifer, her nephews Micah and Oliver, and many other special relatives and friends.

A private graveside funeral service for Jodi will be held on Sunday, March 7 at 11:00 at the Beth Yeshurun Post

Oak Cemetery. Friends are invited to view the service via Zoom with the following link: https://zoom. us/j/93213671241
