Mavs collect fourth straight victory

WASHINGTON — Luka Doncic scored 26 points and the Dallas Mavericks beat the Washington Wizards 109-87 Saturday night.

Doncic shot 12 of 24 and had eight rebounds and six assists as Dallas has won four straight and completed a five-game roadtrip at 4-1.

Jalen Brunson scored 19 points and Boban Marjanovic posted his third double-double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Tim Hardaway Jr. had 16 points and Dorian Finney-Smith added 11.

Russell Westbrook had 26 points and 14 rebounds as the Wizards posted a season-low point total. Washington has dropped three straight and 11 of 14 since the All-Star break.

Robin Lopez scored 18 points and Raul Neto had 16 points off the bench.

The Mavericks led after each quarter and trailed just once despite playing without Kristaps Porzingis, who sat out for the fifth time on the back end of a back-to-back this season while recovering from his surgically repaired right knee.

Dallas did have coach Rick Carlisle back on the sidelines after he missed Friday’s win at the New York Knicks. Carlisle had tested positive for COVID-19, but later tests revealed it to be a false positive. Carlisle had been vaccinated in January.

Joel Embiid had 24 points and eight rebounds in his return to Philadelph­ia’s lineup, and Tobias Harris scored 32 to lead the 76ers to a home victory over Minnesota.

Ben Simmons added 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Philadelph­ia.

HEAT 115, CAVALIERS 101

Duncan Robinson scored 18 points on 6-for-9 shooting on 3-pointers and Miami continued its home dominance with a win over Cleveland.

Bam Adebayo finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

KNICKS 125, PISTONS 81

Julius Randle scored 20 of his 29 points in the first quarter, and visiting New York pounded Detroit.

Randle and Reggie Bullock, who had 22 points, had four 3-pointers apiece in the first.

JAZZ 137, MAGIC 91

Donovan Mitchell had 22 points and four assists, Bojan Bogdanovic and Joel Ingles each added 17 and Utah dominated Orlando in a home victory.

Jordan Clarkson had 15 points for the Jazz.

Wendell Carter Jr. led the Magic with 19 points.

BUCKS 129, KINGS 128

Jrue Holiday scored 33 points with 11 assists and Brook Lopez added 26 points as host Milwaukee survived Sacramento without Giannis Antetokoun­mpo, who is sidelined with a knee injury.

TRAIL BLAZERS 133 THUNDER 85

CJ McCollum scored 20 points to lead eight Trail Blazers in double figures and Portland routed Oklahoma City.

Kenrich Williams had 18 points and five rebounds for the Thunder.

PACERS 139 SPURS 133 (OT)

Caris LeVert scored 26 points and the short-handed Indiana Pacers snapped a three-game losing streak with an overtime victory over San Antonio.

Aaron Holiday, Myles Turner and T.J. McConnell each had 18 points for Indiana.

Spurs veteran DeMar DeRozan had 25 points.
