Thomas W White Jr., passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2021. Tom was born on March 18, 1929 in St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jacqueline and parents Thomas and Mildred White. He is survived by his son Gregory and wife Linda, and grandson Thomas Guerrero; son Timothy and wife Rebecca, and grandchild­ren Mackenzie, Madison, and Tristan; and his sister Joan Scherrer of St. Louis, MO. He was a beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfathe­r, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, and dear friend to many.

He attended St Louis University High School and Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy where he graduated in June 1950 with a BS in Mechanical Engineerin­g. After serving for two years in the Army Chemical Corps, he began a 51-year engineerin­g career in the Petroleum industry. He and Jackie traveled extensivel­y, living in Aruba, Saudi Arabia and England with myriad travels betwixt and between. Tom played tennis into his 80s and was a fierce opponent on the court. He had a boundless curiosity, was a great conversati­onalist, and never stopped learning.

There will be no visitation. Cremation services will be provided by the Neptune Society. Tom chose to be interred with wife Jackie at the Houston National (VA) Cemetery in Houston. In lieu of flowers, contributi­ons may be sent to Habitat for Humanity, NW Harris County.
