Dispute about money ends with man shot dead

A man was shot and killed early Saturday in north Houston after a dispute over money, police said.

The homeowner was shot multiple times around 3 a.m. at the front door of his residence in the 11300 block of O’Donnell, said Lt. R. Willkens of the Houston Police Department.

Investigators believe the victim, who has not been identified, got into a verbal dispute with another man regarding paperwork and money, Willkens said.

The shooter fled in a gray Honda, Willkens said.
