Nightclub patron shoots bouncer in arm and flees

Night Club was shot in the arm early Saturday during a dispute with a patron, police said.
The shooting happened shortly after 1 a.m. at the club at 900 Jefferson St. downtown after the bouncer stopped the man from going through a door he wasn’t supposed to use, said Cmdr. Matthew May of the Houston Police Department.
The club was full at the time of the shooting, and people ran outside when the shot rang out, May said.
Police are searching for the shooter, who fled and has not been apprehended.
The bouncer is in stable condition.
