Heal with accountability

Regarding “What will it take to unite Americans this Fourth of July?” ( July 3): It has been six months since the siege of the U.S. Capitol. Why are career politicians unwilling to open a transparent bipartisan investigation to reveal how this atrocity came to occur? The wounds from this disgraceful conduct persist. While the puppets will have their day in court, the puppeteers must be held to account.
